Had 5 star out to check our mini split system. One unit was freezing up when it wasn’t on. Kevin had the issue diagnosed over the phone and was 99% sure it was a communication issue. The techs, Vinny and Ryan, replicated the problem and confirmed there was an issue with the communication wires and had everything working as it should in under 2 hours!

Thank goodness we got our 18K BTU Ductless Mini Split System installed on June14,2022 by Five Star Mechanical before the extreme heat developed later on in the month and continued. It was nice knowing that the unit would only take one day to complete. The unit has kept us comfortable during these hot summer days and I am sure it will be used for the heating part of the unit once the colder weather arrives.
